Lully’s Mobile Kitchens - Abbotsford

Saw the Lully's mobile unit on my way into Canadian tire today. What caught my attention was the upbeat music and festive atmosphere. Thought to myself....hmm....I,m actually quite hungry so will check it out when I'm done shopping. On my way out went over and was pleasantly surprised by the positive and fun attitude of the vendor who obviously enjoys what he does: making great hot dogs and meat sandwiches. He rattled off where the hot dogs came from and ran off the recipe for the onion sauce he had cooking on the side. We got chatting talking about soccer and his favourite players and soon we had a small group of guys eating hot dogs, drinking sodas or coke and talking soccer.Hot dogs were delicious, great upbeat conversation ,thanks for making my day !Graham (Zimbabwean)

I wanted to buy the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich and the vendor recommended I buy the hotdog. The hotdog was $3.00 less than the sandwich. I laughed and bought the hot dog. I thought it must be good if the vendor was underselling me. True to his word, it was a great hot dog. I got the history of the hot dog and the condiments along with the meal. The Nathan's weiner's are imported from NY, the custom bun and the condiments was what sealed the deal. It was a real nice surprise from the parking lot of Canadian Tire. I've been back to try the smoked meat sandwich. I'm not sure which is the better of the two. I'll have to try them a few more times maybe.

Lully's is a little parking lot cafe is complete with outdoor seating under an open tent, with ambient music playing in the open air. You will forget you are even eating in a Canadian Tire parking lot! The made-to-order foot long all-beef Nathan's Famous hot dogs from New York are cooked right before your very eyes by the owner of this unique restaurant. Topped with a subtly spicy sauce and onion topping, this delicious foot-long is snuggled in a pretzel bun to die for! There is the standard ketchup and mustard on the side, but you won't want to mess with the original recipe, it's great the way it's made. Friendly service, cold refreshing drinks, and delicious high-end hot dogs was a real treat after shopping! You can even take an order to go, or text an order for pick up.

Ok, wow It's not often that I walk into a restaurant and have other patrons tell me what to eat and how good *everything* is.
