It's french with a bit of a twist, eg I had pasta (homemade) with my fish. Very well made. Good service. Nice atmosphere.

Nothing sets your dining atmosphere more positively than a warm welcome from the staff. And here they have an efficient and friendly wait staff. The brunch was interesting small portions of a good variety.

Wen't out for shopping in Aarhus, the place to be in 2017, not only because of the culinary movement in this little city but Aarhus will be hosting the European capital of culture 2017. Lecoq a little nice french bistro with a small delightful menu. My wife and I with our daughter (5years) visited this place for lunch. They had french toast with different toppings, we both tried the foie gras, she got the confit de canard and I the today fish special and it was no problem for them to frye some frenchfrye for my daugther. Thumps up. The foie gras was lovely with some nice sweet toppings and figs really good. The confit de canard was a little to the drye side a little moist would have brought the dish to the next level. The apple pure on it gave the dish a litte acidity and crunch from a small apple ball. Really good. The todays fish was cooked perfectly with some home made mayo and fried capers a light delightful dish. Its french its rich, with a little bit of good fat. So we choosed a sweet spanish wine with a little acid in it to smooth out the richness of the food. A great friendly place. Would visit it again next time i'm downtown
