Hotell Fjaellgaarden Aare

The hotel is poorly maintained with rooms that have broken handles and furniture. The restaurant and bar are expensive, with a steep price of 8€ for 2 Pepsis and a lackluster cocktail. The live band was decent, but they started their set at 9 o'clock, which may not be convenient for everyone. The staff consists of seasonal workers, some of whom are experienced while others are not. Be cautious when paying your bill, as they may ask for a service tip even if it is already included.

The restaurant has wonderful decor, a pleasant ambiance, and a great view from the hotel. The food was also delicious. We requested vegetarian options and the staff was friendly enough to accommodate our request and create them for us.
