Vanallier Premium Belgian Fries

We arrived early in the morning in Wevelgem, as the night had already fallen in that direction. The restaurant Vanallier is located within walking distance of our accommodation. The decor is modern, the atmosphere warm, and the service friendly. We opted for the steak tartare and mixed grill for my colleague, following a round of aperitifs. We didn't hear back from my colleague, so we assume everything was fine. My steak tartare was a bit acidic for my taste, as the true flavor of the meat got a bit lost among the acidity. The acoustics in the restaurant could be improved, as even though it was not crowded, there was quite a bit of noise. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with a tip to work on the acoustics.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere that is a mix of casual and elegant. French cuisine is served without any issues.

The food is delicious and the location is beautiful. It feels more like a restaurant than a fast food joint. The fries are served as a side dish.
