Café Kittel - Aachen

This corner of the pontstraße can no longer be imagined without the caffe kittel and its beautiful beer garden. the service sometimes leaves too much to wish, but you know that when you go there. the small menu offers a nice selection, which is ok. breakfast you can also enjoy here. if there is no space in the beer garden or if it is closed, I prefer to sit in the glass box, a small space at the end of the local with windows to the beside-homed bookshop. all in all a cozy institution.

We have waited 30 minutes for night(!) and another 30 minutes for the rest of the food at 2 people was full, but with good weather you must also expect.prices also a bit expensive to think about.

Always a nice place to stop by and enjoy a coffee and a snack. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Also in the evening a great spot in the Pontstraße to enjoy a beer. Sometimes they have live music.

We waited 40 minutes until we were served after we finally ordered to eat, after another 35 minutes we were told that what we ordered, on the basis of missing ingredients no longer feasible??? personal was very unhappy and slow.

This café is close to the market place as well as the university, which is why it gets frequented by tourists and students alike. Inside are cozy tables to sit down and in the summer time the terrace is also really nice. You can just have a tea or a coffee, enjoy a beer with some nachos or chose something to eat off the menu or from the weekly changing offers. Soups, pizzas, salads, cake, and also great breakfast, all for very affordable prices. I recommend any kind of soup or stew here, and also the zucchini-chocolat-cake, it sounds weird but it is so good! Depending on the seasons, they also offer summer-y or winter-y drink specials as well.
