For a first timer, it was amazing. Food was delicious and plenty and the craft beer on tap was outstanding. This is truly a landmark establishment and wish I found out about it way before I read that they were closing. If you have not tried it yet, do so soon!!

A go to place for good eats and beer in the South Wedge. So sorry to see you close at the end of 2021.

Hands down the best place for beer in Rochester. The staff are all great, and the beer selection never disappoints. The atmosphere is always great too. If you’re only in town for a day, you should stop here.

We came for the famous fish and chips, but were unexpectedly blown away by the veggie burger. Tap and Mallet has all of their burgers available in vegetarian-friendly form with a house-made chickpea patty, which was flavorful and honestly better than most conventional burgers I’ve eaten.
