Kumo Sushi And Lounge New City

I really appreciate the guy who greets you as you come in, he acts like he's thrilled to see you. The wait staff are amazing, very attentive. The food is delicious.

Kumo has good food, I can’t deny that. My problem is that I’ve been there on many occasions where the clock strikes 10pm and the want you out. At 940 they will take the last drink order, at 945 they bring the check with your drink, 955 lights on and the entire staff standing at the door in their coats looking at their watches. They can care less that you are still eating or drinking, they want you gone and make it blatantly obvious. It’s beyond frustrating.

Amazing food and service, but on the weekends after 6 it’s extremely packed!

I am done with this place. The previous ownership was much better. Granted the sushi is very good, no question. But the service is horrible Called to order for pick up and on more than once they were 25 minutes late. Ok not a big deal.... understandable. But tonight we called to place and order and went to pick it up.... I was told my order was never received??? They asked if I called they right place. Shown the number we called and it was indeed their number. They let me hanging like it was … – show

It was satisfying and worth it. Even the waiters/waitresses that were working there were all respectful, nice, and accommodating.
