First off, go eat here now. If you like Italian I will be shocked if you don't love everything at Cafe Capriccio. From start to finish the experience was surprising, fun and phenomenal. First greeted outside by the guide to help you navigate to the right door. More appreciated and needed than you may originally think. The best Italian food in the Capital District. Service and quality of food is top shelf.

I think when you grow up eating Italian food at home it makes it difficult for an Italian restaurant to really knock your socks off. With this in mind, the food at Cafe Capriccio is freshly made, tasty and generally quite good. I have never seen stuffed clams made with olives and capers before — the flavors were a bit overwhelming. They were clearly freshly made and others may enjoy them, but not for us.
