La Tavernetta - A Coruña

Went here for Christmas lunch, not many places offering lunch so you 'd think beggars can 't be choosers. NO 1) Greeted by server having a fag in door way 2) Given a choice between two tables positioned in between kitchen and toilet 3) Asked for a 20 euro bottle of red wine (terrible like water), bill stated it cost 8.5 (rather have had the 20 bottle) 4) Starter, tempura vegetables (passable), mini pizzas (rubbish) and some sloppy gooy thing that actually tasted OK. 5) Mains, my wife have a risotto with seafood, seafood good but just TOO MUCH salt, inedible. I had a steak and chips, steak must have just come out of the freezer and the chips barely seen the chip pan. 6) Serve, ****, they just did not want to be there! I didn 't bother with pleasantries after the mains, paid for the meal , didn 't have dessert or coffee and left. They sparkling water was excellent

Is one of the places I take my friends and family when it's my turn to host. It's not typical food in the area, but they have enviable dishes. the generalized opinion of my colleagues is When do you take us back to the tavernetta? . my most repeated dish: the prosciutto and tonno pizza and lasaña, but there is much to choose. the dish usually rounds the 8€ and is generous, you can eat perfectly with it. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants, and if you're lovers of Italian cuisine like me, I really recommend it.

Some very good pizzas, it always fills after the matches. you can also take a fish or a meat. the days of football or reservations or you will have no space.

Nice, very good attention and very good food. Everything together is spectacular!
