Arepas Pues - 4ta. Avenida

The location was very nice and had a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and funny. The food was good when you try some local arepas

We went there in the evening when we wanted to try some Arepas. the place looks beautiful, especially the garden in the back. Unfortunately, the food (veggie meat arepa plus French fries) was not good. it was very fat and did not seem fresh. My stomach is also grounded. I've been in the bathroom since this visit.

I highly recommend Arepas Pues. I was here with my daughter for a late night dinner and we were so happy that we came. We sat outside. The inside is very nice too. They had an outdoor band playing. So fun and the arepas and food were so authentic and delicious. Everyone that worked here was so nice and helpful too. Very convenient for the hotels in El Laguito and the Bocagrande area.

Eat outside to people watch, or come sit in the back for a more unique experience. The courtyard at the back is open air with an eclectic mix of art including a neon-painted house front and statues of turtles, birds, and other wildlife scattered around. Our waiter was fun and added to the atmosphere. The arepas were fine, but the better part of the meal was the meat skewers. Despite the name, go with these for a real great meal. The chicken was tender, juicy, and delicious.

This is a very standard Colombian food, the Arepa. It's a corn bread type shell stuffed with different foods depending on what your order. Absolutely delicious. The restaurant looks small from the outside, but has a nice size dinning area in the back, nice decor.What do the locals think? It's crowded with local people at times. Last weekend my wife's whole famiy, about 20 of us went there for dinner. So that gives you an idea, if locals like it, and a family of 20 go for a evening meal, it must be good.Service is fast and friendly, restaurant is very clean. You'll like it. This isn't a high end dinner place. just a good ol' friendly restaurant.
