Jū Jiǔ Wū ラブ - 西之表市

This is a snack-style izakaya. The entrance is... a door that doesn't look like an izakaya at all, but don't worry, just open it. The mama-san and everyone at the restaurant greet you warmly with smiles. There is no menu. Small dishes come out automatically, so if you tell them your budget or what you want to eat (meat, fish, etc.) in advance, they will adjust accordingly. I asked for local dishes from Tanegashima and they served me elephant shrimp, squid, and turban shell. It was really delicious. It seems like a restaurant loved by locals and I definitely want to visit again.
