ケンちゃんラーメン Xiàng Xì Diàn

I visited the restaurant around 12:00 pm on December 3, 2021, only to find a sign saying "Temporarily Closed". It was closed on that day. Additionally, I stopped by again on February 24, 2022, and encountered the same situation as before.

This is a restaurant where photography is prohibited. The menu only includes Chinese noodles, with the option for small, regular, or large servings, but even the regular size is quite substantial. The interior has air conditioning and manga available. The noodles are quite thick and curly, and the bamboo shoots are thin. The noodles are similar to udon.

The Washi Washi noodles are amazing! The salty soup is amazing! The combination of the crunchy and chewy Washi Washi noodles with the salty broth is incredibly addictive. This ramen may not be for everyone, but for those who enjoy it, it's a must-try. Just a heads up, this branch in Azumakata is the only Ken-chan Ramen Series store that prohibits photography, so the photo is just for reference. Even though the noodle portion is average, it's actually more than the extra-large servings at other ramen shops (I heard it's 300g), so even a small bowl will leave you feeling satisfied. This ramen is said to be addicting after just three visits - it's a strong flavored Chinese-style ramen with a punch!
