Gǔ Fù Niǎo ほっこ Shí Táng

I went to this restaurant!! I had the "Zenmashi Mashi" ramen. The soup was soy sauce flavored with bonito powder sprinkled on top of the vegetables, giving it a strong bonito flavor. The noodles were thick, smooth and round, similar to champon noodles. The extra toppings were a bit less than what was shown in the menu photo, so the "Zenmashi Mashi" was actually more like a regular portion. I tend to get tired of Jiro-style ramen halfway through, so I added vinegar and chili oil after eating about half of it to make it taste like hot and sour soup. I highly recommend trying it this way.

Starting from May 1, 2022, there were some price changes at the restaurant, so I took a photo of the new menu! I absolutely love the Shoyu Maze Soba and Char-mayo Don set from Satake Seimen, and I keep coming back for more.

I always go for the "Devil"! I chose level 2 spiciness, but as a spice lover, I couldn't handle it ;__; I think level 1 is still the best in terms of deliciousness.
