Very good restaurant, real French cuisine. You'll find rabbits, snails, homemade pasta, homemade rillettes, real steak, real cheese fondue, mussels, lobster, fish... a well-filled wine list with real nuggets. Home desserts: floating island, burning cream, home ice cream, chocolate terrine... prices are really very reasonable given the quality and quantity served. I've rarely eaten as well. Nickel and fast service. With a little luck the French chief will come to greet you. Really a nice restaurant, the food is real French cooking. You can order rabbit, paté, snails, meat, lobster, fish, cheese fondu, quiche... all is homemade including the dessert. Price are reasonable, that s quality food and a good quantity in your platen. My favorite French restaurant in Japan and one of my top 3 restaurant if I include the one I know in France.

I have the pleasure to have a dinner Le Gaulois when i was at Yamaguchi-ken sometime in July this year !! I absolutely enjoyed my 3 course meal !!! The food was sumptuous!! I can not remember what they call the dishes i had from the entree to my dessert but each one of them is delicious !! I quite enjoyed the lovely ambienance of Le Gaulois !! It is squeaky clean , you can even have a pleasant trip to a very clean modern toilet you can sleep there !!! Parking is not a problem, they have a lot of car space which will easily accomodate 20 cars i thought !
