The seafood was fresh and reasonably priced, just as the reputation suggested. I always sit at the counter and enjoy chatting with the chef about seafood, which makes me happy as I enjoy fishing. The menu offers course meals ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 yen. I tried different courses priced at 3,000, 4,000, and 5,000 yen each time, but the 3,000 yen course is sufficient for a light meal. The 4,000 yen course includes soup and upgrades the grade of seafood, while the 5,000 yen course offers a generous amount of nigiri sushi including flounder engawa and seared shrimp. Even the 3,000 yen course includes a variety of appetizers, tempura skewers, nigiri sushi, and soup. When staying in Nishigo, I make a reservation for dinner every night at this restaurant. As a sake enthusiast, I drink quite a bit but was satisfied with the 3,000 yen course. However, I must mention that the drink cost was not included in the course price.
I was recommended by a colleague and went to this restaurant, which is a 7-8 minute walk from the ferry terminal. Before going, I received advice to go for the 3000 yen course, so I made a reservation for seats and the course. When we arrived at 18:30, the tatami room was full, so the two of us sat at the counter and cheers with a glass of beer. Soon, a sashimi platter arrived, surrounded by sazae, katsuo, isaki, tako, shimesaba, and white fish, with a large rock oyster in the center. The freshness and taste were truly impressive. Next, we enjoyed 12 varieties of hot, freshly fried tempura including sazae, shiitake mushroom with shrimp, and salmon, accompanied by various sauces like tonkatsu, lemon, matcha salt, and grain mustard. Finally, we had nigiri sushi with toro, shrimp, eel, crab miso gunkan, kazunoko, aji, white fish, and tamago, along with red miso soup and dessert. It was a satisfying meal from start to finish.
The raw oysters sashimi was delicious and the touch screen ordering was smooth.
日曜日に訪問。予約して訪問した方が良いとのことです。当日は4000円のコース料理をオーダー。コース料理は値段により寿司ネタが変わるとのこと。コース内容は串カツ、刺身、握り、デザートになります。コースには隠岐名物の1口では食べられないほどの巨大牡蠣が含まれます。寿司の握りは美しい。 西郷港周辺では一番お薦めとのことです。
