Oase - Zuerich

Another place you cannot go with children. people complain about your children right away, both times we were there.

Restaurant Oase –Chez SBB- is rather hidden at the back side of the Zurich Main train station, you’ll need to take the elevator up to the third floor. Restaurant Oase -Chez SBB- offers a large dining space with seating options from wooden tables and chairs, padded booths with window views, and high tables and stools. The place is canteen style dining offering international changing daily set meals priced around 15-18CHF. There is a soup salad bar, snacks, hot/cold beverages and more. Another plus is the place opens around 6am daily! Early morning hours the café/bar offers hot/cold beverages, healthy breakfast selections, and a nice choice of freshly baked breads and pastries. I opted for the Kung Pao special (17.50CHF), which came with the choice of a small salad or soup as with all set menu options. My dish was very tasty and the portion size was very hearty. There are cups for the self-serve fountain water station. Veggie dishes as well as the large salad bar allows for a healthy option. The atmosphere of the place is nice for small, medium, or large sized groups. Amenities included secured Wi-Fi, clean restrooms, a friendly and welcoming staff and of course its convenient location (though maybe hard to find). Morning hours, the place is very peaceful. On my visit the lunch crowd was busy, but many tables were still available and all tables rotated quickly. I would certainly visit again and highly recommend.

Für mich als Mitarbeiter eine gute Kantine mit relativen langen Öffnungszeiten. Zu normalen Zeiten (ohne Coronamassnahmen) auch offen für die „normale“ Bevölkerung. Seit die Pächterverhältnisse gewechselt haben, schmeckt auch das Essen wirklich gut. Den Fleischkäse der alten Pächter, den man am morgen immer Essen konnte, fehlt aber richtig.

Für eine kurze Auszeit im Zürich HB bestens geeignet. Erst kürzlich erneuert worden. Gerne wieder!

Da verbringt man die Pausen gerne. Freundliches Personal und gutes Essen. Auch ist die Inneneinrichtung sehr schön gestaltet.
