Would be nicer if the vehicle didn't get dirty again whenever I drive on dirt roads. I live on dirt roads so there is no way that this can last more than a day or so.
I am very disappointed in the frequency that the car wash is not working...I pay the monthly fee and more times than not lately the wash is not working...The orange cones are not put in place so I will pull up and have the machine say it is out of order so have to back out and hopefully noone has not pulled in behind me...I do like the wash when it is working
I am not usually a frequent-flier of Super America and Speedway, however, I am writing this review on their great car wash! Looks may be deceiving because the machine to purchase a car wash is broken (doesn't take card or cash or something) so you'll have to purchase at the pump or inside the store, but once you get inside the wash, I think it does an excellent job! Some other car washes I've been to don't have bristles and cleaners that get close enough to my car, therefore, they don't seem to clean my car as thoroughly. This car wash overwhelms your car in scrub bristles and soap, getting inside every crevasse your car has. I have a sunken back window with a spoiler over top, so most car washes don't get underneath that, and I end up having to go back and wipe my window after. I don't have to when I go to this car wash! AND... it dries your car while you're still inside the car wash, eliminating the need for you to time your dry just right while driving out of the car wash. The dryer could be a little better since it didn't comletely dry my car, but I'll take that over having to try and time it myself! 4 stars because of the cash/card machine being broken and for the dryer not being AS great as it could be, but the quality of clean is what matters to me. A FAN.
I will only visit speedway if I need gas. I am writing this review on their horrible car wash. While waiting forever for a car wash, which I know is normal, there were no signs leading into the car wash warning people that the machine only takes exact cash or a code. This would have been nice to know before literally getting stuck in line, since there is no way to back out or turn around when the line forms behind you. So, ignorant me gets to the machine. I have my credit card, which the machine cannot take. I then realize I only have a $20 bill. The car wash is $10. The machine doesn't not give change. I push the call attendant button multiple times with no one coming out to help me. I have to get out of my car to ask the folks behind me if they have change for a $20. I was lucky enough to find a nice gal who was 3 cars behind me to give me four $5 bills. I insert the $5 bills. The machine eats one of my $5 bills. I go through the car wash. It's mediocre at best. Barely any pressure, no tri-color foam as promised (that's the best part! , and the drying barely dried my car. Not worth $10 in my opinion, let alone ending up paying $15 for the machine eating one of my $5 bills. I decide to go inside to confront the staff about my experience. I asked why no one came to help me upon pushing the assistance button. Apparently it hasn't worked in years. I asked them what could I have done if I only had two $5 bills and the machine ate one? I would have been stuck! The door doesn't open to allow you to go through unless you get a car wash! They didn't have an answer for me, only to suggest that I pre-pay for the car wash with a code next time. Well, there won't be a next time. Thank you to the staff that gave me my $5 back though. However, I HIGHLY suggest you put signs out at the beginning of the entrance, rather than have poor schmucks like me find out the hard way once you get to the machine. You can tell there's tape from signs being ripped off by people. Make a sign to stick in the ground outside. Don't assume that everyone that comes to your establishment that they are going to know how things work...or don't work!
