Roadrunner Cafe & Bakery - ZIHUATANEJO

I walked up to this place alone twice while my husband was out fishing. I was happy to find a place that served espresso. I was also happy to see a menu on a large banner in English. The first time I was disappointed that they didn't have scones. I was told that it wasn't busy enough for them to bake every day. When I went back the next day they did have scones and I enjoyed one along with my latte. The third time I went there was with my husband and we had a nice breakfast. They have a lot of choices. There is a large covered outdoor seating area which is where I sat all three times. There is also indoor seating. It was my favorite place to go during the 6 days we spent there.

We had lunch at the cafe before leaving Los Barriles. The location is within a mini shopping-type center right when you enter the town. We sat outside on the terrace. It was nice but essentially in a parking lot. The food is basic but good and there are a lot of options, Mexican and American. The prices are reasonable. The cost for 2 burgers, a croissant sandwich, beef tacos and 4 beer was 600 pesos. I heard that the breakfast is also very good as well as the baked goods. A good place for a no frills simple meal when in Los Barriles.

We've eaten here several times. Great food and good prices. We sit outside. Varied menu...something for everyone. My only complaint would be the flies, but you get those anywhere eating outdoors.

Great food and service. Fresh orange juice. Inexpensive. Casual atmosphere. Open for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely return.

We stopped here for Breakfast Burritos for the road. They were really nice and fast and it was plenty of good food, came with a side of potatoes too. The price was good! We would definitely go here again!
