Tubby's Q And Smokehouse - Zephyrhills

I ordered takeout today, but I want to eat there sometime. The food was wonderful with a natural/healthy homemade taste. Amazing secondary dishes (I chose Coleslaw and Beans). The smokey taste of the ribs reminded me of something I tried in Texas. I love the sauce. I only ate there, but I'm looking forward to going back and tasting different pieces of meat. It has a cute dining room and pig character outside.

Disclaimer: BBQ is a very personal thing! Good dry rub and tasteful homemade sauces. Sausage and pulled pig were very good. Brisket was very fat and somewhat overdue to our taste, but again, this is a preference. Beans and rice sides were delicious. Green beans and potato salad do not offer much taste. Crew, including the owner, were very friendly. Place was very clean and service was great. If you like BBQ, you should definitely give it a chance.

Big grill! You can really taste that delicious smokey taste in the pulled pork. And the sausage... so tasteful a little sharp. I don't know what magic they put in the rice (meat love? but on! The portions are very generous, so we eat tomorrow, thanks! Our server was friendly... Tubby himself came to check us, say hello. Great customer service!

My husband and friends are looking for little mom and pop restaurants. We hit the jackpot!!! I ordered half ribs (although we feed two) baked with potatoes salad and beans. Unbelievable!! No complaints! My husband had Brisket. I tried. Delicious, but I prefer the ribs, personally. For pages he had the green beans and rice. I love the rice! Tubby served us and made our evening. We're back with family and friends. He'll cook fish sometime. I look forward to it!!!

Our server said it was a slow night, I don't know why because the food is excellent! Had the smoked pulled pork, dirty rice and baked Mac n cheese. Only open Thursday Saturday, so plan accordingly!
