Primo's - Yukon

Primos is always very consistent and a regular stop on our dinner rotation. They’ve got a mix of classic dishes as well as some different twists on some really good entrees. Food is always great, service is always on par and atmosphere is like a walk back in time. I don’t think they’ve done much to the decor since they opened, which is fine for me. Some people might like a bit of an updated location. I’m happy this is literally just up the road from us so we don’t have to go far to enjoy these delicious flavors. Give it a try if you haven’t!!

My husband had the blackened salmon and said it was the best he had ever eaten. I had the scallops and felt the same way. We sat at the bar, and Nathan was top notch at taking care of us! It was our 1st visit, but we'll be back soon. Update 8/9/24: We have been back several times since the 1st visit, and we still love the food and the service.

Our card was charged 3 times. Twice for the correct amount and once for another table. Management had no explanation and no resolution except wait for your bank to refund you. Extremely disappointed. Our waitress was more concerned with catching than actually helping us. Our drinks sat empty and we waited longer to be charged 3 times than we did to get our food.

If you like a good Malbec, don't order theirs. The artichoke dip was good, as was the calamari. However, the oil and balsamic vinegar was a poor selection. It was lifeless and bland. I was in the mood for something a little spicy and the waiter recommended a dish. It has shrimp and scallops with pasta on a bed of asparagus. I cannot recommend this dish strongly enough. While the shrimp and scallops were of good size, the sauce completely ruined the dish. It not only was not spicy, but had no flavor and they drown the plate in it. I picked at it and decided to order the key lime pie. Poor choice. It had no bite. Good key lime pie should have some kick to it. This was just a creamy pie with a bit of lime flavor. I will say that the staff was excellent although the guy who wanted our plates acted like they only had a few. I won't go back and would not recommend that you go either

The atmosphere of primos is really soothing and calm. We absolutely loved the food and desserts. Our waiter Reid was so fantastic!! He was so friendly and attentive. He did a magnificent job serving us :3
