The hot table has a wide variety of options, including a delicious veal sandwich for $11. Unlike other Italian chains with bland meat hidden under toppings, this sandwich actually tastes like real veal. While the veal wasn't as hot as expected, the bun was fresh and crispy. Just be prepared for a great meal!

Today's lunch was disappointing. I have been enjoying the pastrami sandwiches from this restaurant for 40 years. However, today's meal was not up to the usual standard. It seems that there has been a change in ownership, as the food was served differently and at a much higher price. The taste was not the same as before, and I did not feel any sense of nostalgia. I would give this meal a rating of zero.

I popped in yesterday to pick up some bread rolls. I make it a point when I am fairly close to make a detour as their bread is VERY good. I also saw they had empanadas so I bought 2. YUMMY. I usually go for...a rice ball or a panzerotti, both of which are tasty. I also picked up a few cream horns for a friend as I know they love the pastry here.
