Caffe Gran Sasso - York

Great idea to make the coffee shop open directly on Main Street. Went in and had a gelato specialty coffee. So good. My friend just had the gelato. Good sitting area to people watch. I really like this place. Better option than Starbucks.

Service is slow and space is limited. Not a lot of variety. You feel very unwelcome. Not sure if this place will survive.

Had a decadent sorbet in the summertime, and also enjoyed some cookies that I shared with our colleagues. It's a quaint little shop, and the coffee smells delicious. Worthy of supporting!

A tastefully appointed coffee haus, with really great coffee, nice eatables for breakfast or lunch and a pair of exquisitely attired proprietors that are friendly and always have a smile on their faces. Its so good to have something that is not contrived or a facsimile of a brand. This is the real deal.

It's not easy serving coffee on Main street as there are a lot of choices. I would love to see this coffee shop turn into a Breakfast stop. There are places on Main St. that do breakfast but none are a real breakfast place and I think Gran Sasso would do well. This is sort of off the path, quieter and they're very friendly.
