We arrived to pick up our food and the lights were still on outside including the drive thru menu. We sat at the drive thru menu for 2 minutes and pulled up to the window 954.Upon arriving at the window, I was informed by one of the employees that they were closed. I asked for a refund for my online order and then he told me that he could make our order. We received everything except one item and told to come back tomorrow after 10:30 a.m.I am not happy about this as the lights were still on, showing that they were open. The reasoning they first gave us was that they were short workers, I saw 3 people, from the window view.The last excuse for not being able to make the item was, We are out of beans.
Food was typical Taco John's, but the new hot sauce is horrible. I haven't been to a Taco John's in a while but the hot sauce obviously changed has ruined the entire experience. They used to have some of the best hot sauce but now it is way off. If you are a sauce person you are going to be disappointed. If you eat the food without sauce you'll be fine.
Food was great. Cheese quesadilla was tasty as were the potatoes ole with nacho cheese sauce. Only 2 workers. One prepared the food and the other handled the counter and drive-thru which caused a bit of a wait.
Maybe would be 5 star had they not been more worried about who said what about who and did their job. Don't leave teenagers unattended if you want your business ran
I really enjoy Taco John's food and I never have any problems when I go through the drive thru. However, whenever I order via DoorDash, my order is always missing something or is incorrect. Yes, I can get my money back for the incorrect or missing item via DoorDash, but it's still inconvenient and quite frustrating that it happens so often. I don't think I'll be ordering delivery from this location again any time soon.
