Lanmadaw Vegetarian - Yangon

After spending the day at the US Embassy, we decided to visit this restaurant. Despite having tried many mock meats during our travels in Vietnam, we found them to be unimpressive. We ordered chicken wings, kung pao, speck, and more for 3500k, but did not receive rice (we forgot to mention that). Overall, the meal was nothing special. The standout was the sausage pieces.

To find something tricky, but the restaurant is located in the Chinese tempel facility (which is next to the novotel). just walk through the tempeltor and keep them to the left. they see the sign vegetarian restaurant above the door.

The food really enjoyed. very local experience. the place is clean and spacious, but a little out of the way. service was good, a few English. menu has no prices, but I asked and the prices were explained, then the bill was reflected. so no problem. recommended if in the opposite!

Humble place and nice staff however they don't speak English but English menu is available. They offer a wide variety of vegan dishes. It's very cheap.

The staff doesn't speak English but they have their menu translated on separate sheets of paper (see pictures) with no prices on. All the prices on Burmese menu were either 2000 or 3000 kyat. I ordered Veg good luck chicken and got charged 3800 kyat, not really knowing why. The food was good seitan in tomato sauce.
