カウベリー - 斜里町

I visited at the end of October. It's been decades since I went there on a motorcycle during my student days, and there was so much information about Shiretoko that wasn't available back then. I bought plenty of souvenirs from the shop here and ended up buying too much, so I decided to have them sent to me by courier. Even after returning home, I enjoyed the delicious souvenirs while reminiscing about Utoro. The dorayaki was delicious with three different flavors such as crowberry and rosehip, all of them tasty. I would love to visit Shiretoko again, but maybe it's impossible. Shiretoko is the best.

Due to the road closure in Shiretoko, we had to stay at a hotel unexpectedly. During that time, we visited a roadside station nearby. The three-color bowl with salmon roe had large, bubble-like grains and was delicious.

This roadside station offers a wide range of souvenirs, including fresh seafood, in a building designed to resemble an old guardhouse that exudes a charming atmosphere. The station is moderately sized and well-equipped, but the early closing time can be a drawback, and the restaurant inside is only open during lunchtime, so be sure to plan accordingly. The souvenir selection is plentiful, so you won't have any trouble finding something to bring home.

02/03/2022 お土産がコンパクトに揃う、綺麗な建物。 今回は銀鮭Coho Salmonの親子丼を頂く。柔らかい刺身は、付け合わせの山わさびととてもマッチするし、いくらもくどすぎなくて美味しい。満足でした！

網走からチャリンコ漕いで行きました。ロードバイクスタンドと空気入れの貸出あり。 斜里のポケモンマンホールはここにあります。難易度高けー… 施設は広めで知床各地のお土産を広くおいてる感じです。 某総理大臣がそんなのねーよとぶっ叩かれたアレがいただけるようですw
