Alten's Ruh - Wunstorf

By a colleague's recommendation, I became aware of the Old ́s Ruh in Wunstorf. It was about eating duck and the colleague specifically recommended the duck satt, which is offered in the winter months of the Old Ruh for currently 21.40 euros per person. There is a herbal liqueur for digestion from the house. The drinks prices are very fair. With good luck, I have been able to book ducks more quickly than usual (normally 3 days in advance). There is also a TV report on the Duck satt in Alten ́s Ruh (North Tour from 21.12.2013[here link] The restaurant is located a bit away from Wunstorf (quasi in the forest, but in navigation equipment it is noted as a special destination. The duck has totally thrilled us, the duck is almost as with mothers, simply natural, super-lecker, as well as the supplements (cracks, panned with rum-inated apple slices and red cabbage (apparently really clean taste, by no means too much to smell or so delicious). The service was extremely friendly, courteous and fast. In the house a familiar DU is cultivated, which is surprisingly but quite pleasant for the first moment, feeling very many regular guests who are also known to the host. We'll be back in this duck season, probably until the end of February. Service on it ́s best. Fast, friendly, attentive, we were always well equipped. The food The duck was just as we imagined it. It's not better for our taste. The ambience is a simple agritourism from the inside, but just clean and well maintained. Cleanliness There is nothing to complain about.

Here the boss not only welcomes every guest personally, but also himself. Delicious dishes and drinks can be consumed in a cosy atmosphere. The additional season ticket is also worth it again and again. An absolute racer is the Red Beet Carpaccio. As always like to come here. High for the friendly ambitious staff. meal: dinner
