Called in for a drink with a few mates, we were all impressed by how nice the refurbishment has turned out. A good selection of draught lagers but could possibly benefit from a nice real ale. The staff very friendly and had a nice atmosphere. They are starting to do meals shortly and if the food is as good as the rest of the pub it will be a great place to go for a meal in a nice place. We all go out regularly and it was a place we will definitely go back to and I will go for a meal once the kitchen is open

Great home cooked food in lovely surroundings. Very pleasant and professional staff. Would definitely advise booking a table if you are going for Sunday dinner.

I booked a table for six today for an afternoon outing. I had a few small requests, like no mayo and one hot meal for a small child, and everything turned out perfectly. The food was ready right on time, and all eight of us enjoyed our meals so much that we had to take some home with us. There was just too much to finish! I honestly can't think of a single complaint. The owner was very nice, and the staff was extremely friendly. The tea and coffee were great as well. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10 and will definitely return and recommend it to my friends.
