La Perla Woodburn

I ate this morning. Small small shop in the small town of Woodburn, Oregon. Walk-in place was immediately a good sign!! Placed my order of Caldo de res and enchiladas de mol. I wanted the Caldo, but I had to taste the Enchiladas. The food was a little salty (enchiladas), but great over all. Customer service is great, friendly place. After two weeks on the street I need a good meal! Sadly, it could end too much food. I guess my eyes were hungry when I was. Go back and try the Caldo de lengua! Looks delicious.

Enchiladas de mol. Such a bomb. Freshly made torillas. Chilli on point and the waitress or host Ada is the most beautiful ever. I recommend it.

Chicken Mole Tamales-A smoky celebration of flavors! This is as fantastic as Fridays! My staff arrived today with a half dozen hot tampals. I've never been lucky to try freshly made Tamale, and I had no idea what I missed. I am so excited to have been introduced in Casa de Caldos and look forward to a meal with them personally. Also the free hot sauces were exquisite-not too hot but filled with taste. And they open at 5:00. Perfect to take an early coffee or chapurrado and a to-go lunch.

Delicious, wonderful food. The ladies are absolutely fantastic. The chicken fowl is fantastic. And of course... the mole. Try the coffee too. I can't wait to come back and try something else.

WOW!!! This place is absolutely amazing, the best Mexican food I have had in Oregon. We tried several of the soups and the tacos and all were so delicious. The customer service was top notch as well, highly recommend.
