Penn Balti - Wolverhampton

I paid £2.88 for one vegetable samosa. To my disappointment, I received two tiny party-sized samosas, similar to the mini ones you can purchase at Iceland. I find it unacceptable that such a small portion was priced so high. I would have expected a better value for my money. Overall, I am not satisfied with this experience. It is a disappointment.

Over cooked tasteless food. I have no idea how they are still open. How can a qualified chef over cook food? I wouldn't visit here again. I'd rather have a ready from Iceland. Stay clear.

Ordered from penn balti on Sunday evening I order a jalfrezi curry tasted chemically and had a really bizarre after taste it also tasted and looked nothing like a jalfrezi it initially tasted very watery and tomatoey and then as I said earlier mentioned had...a really weird chemical like after taste honestly worst curry ever and I would have been happy with a ready meal standard compared with what they made really horrible please don't waste your money or time order elsewhere

We found a metal coil in our food!!!!! Husband actually pulled it out his mouth! We called Penn Balti straight away to advise them and asked for a refund. No apology was given, and we were told they will only give us a refund if...they came back to our house to collect what was left of the food! I explained we’d thrown the remainder of food in the bin, as we were not eating anymore and we just had what was on our plates.. The food was half eaten.. personally I didn’t want them to come back to my house! They had the nerve to ask me to get the food out of my bin.. as they didn’t believe me.. I trusted in them to provide me with a dish that wasn’t cooked in front of me, but they didn’t trust me to tell them that there was metal in their food? We’d agreed for them to collect the food, only to be told they would come in an hour? We live less than sec in a car journey from this place? I think it’s absolutely appalling their customer service is so poor!! If this is what their customer service is like, I’d hate to think what their food preparation is like? We will not be eating from this place ever again!! I even told them to keep the refund!! Thank you Penn Balti for ruining my Saturday night meal and mood!!! I don’t want to give you a star, but have to in order to write this review!!!

Use this place for home delivery quite often. Delivery is usually prompt and food is of a good standard and always hot.
