Sunspot Mountaintop Lodge Dinner

We stopped here in the middle of our ski day and I thought the whole food was very delicious. I have the buffalo chickens and fries and both were very well cooked. they have many seats and it is first coming to serve. they also have a bar here and the service was fantastic. enjoys!

As expected, this place is really busy during the ski season. I had lunch there and thought it was good. I am not a skier, so it would be nice to have an option to validate for the gondel if they spend a certain amount of money to eat there.

We were in sunspot the last two days for lunch and loved it! the truthahnhavarti sandwich is amazing! great service at this place on the mountain.

We come very often to wp and regularly make a point to stop and lunch on the sunspot. there is a fantastic menu with so many options. try the truthahnhavarti melt. large eating next to the t"a small shop will cover all forgotten essentials, as well as, a possibility to enjoy a unique culinary experience on a mountain with magnificent views. it will not disappoint!

We've had two experiences eating here. While skiing we stopped in for lunch with our group. Lunch was fantastic and our server was spot on in making sure we were taken care of. The burgers and soup were very good and we never had an empty glass. We recently dined a night. This is where it gets more stars for the experience versus the food and service. The ride up during sunset was spectacular, the views amazing. We were lucky enough to be seated by the window and was able to watch the full sunset as well as the lights in Winter Park. The prices are actually reasonable for the set menu with a couple of price points available. We started with the lobster bisque which was very good. I had the ribeye which I didn't think was all that fantastic and my husband agreed with what he had. The sides on the plate were minimal, literally two small carrots and a small scoop of mashed potatoes. Though the waitstaff was pleasant, I had to get our servers attention many times to ask for bread, water, another glass of wine. Which was very unlike our lunch experience. All in all the experience is unique, the food is ok, and the views are amazing.
