Hops Burger - Winston-Salem

You have 2 vegan Patty options and 1 vegan bungalow option. I chose the “Mushroom/Cauliflower-Patty” because it sounded good. The taste was great, but it has a very healthy and squishy texture that did not fit well into a burger. I was with a soggy mix of bread and mush at the end of my meal. I would go back and try her "nutty patty" because as I said, the taste was great.

The first time here and I had the Mushroom-Cauliflower Burger with a Brezel-Hallen. I thought it was decent! I wasn't crazy about this Patty, but would come back to try the groove based Patty! The Toppings and Bretzel-Hallen were good! Salad with ginger dressing was delicious and bigger than I expected! And if you love hot sweet chilli sauce, you will love the sweet chilli frits!!

Had a really delicious nutty patty in “Diablo style” without cheese and bacon. It was really delicious and filled. My partner got the sweet potato fries that were better than my clears recommend the sweet potato fries as they had sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on them. They are very familiar with vegan orders as the GM is vegan. Menu is clearly marked. Great beer choice too.

At the opening week. For vegans: There are currently 2 patty options available, 1 bungalow option available, and many toppings to choose from. The bungalow is great, but the Patty options lack taste and structure (mushy). This is disappointing to me, because I was excited for an unprocessed burger option in the city that can keep its own. Do NOT get the guacamole topping, you will be disappointed, they charge a few dollars for this and the topping size is worth about 1 teaspoon. Overall, a good topping could be the grilled pineapples, raw onions, caramelized onions, etc. something with a very fat flavor you can taste. The staff told me that the cooked items are not separated, so please note the cross contamination risks. As far as experience goes, the service was great, but the atmosphere is very boring. Very good burger. Lots of fry and topping options. Onion rings were good but not a typical onion ring. More crispy and had red onions in them. They didn't skip on the toppings. Glad we made a detour and found this spot.
