Hickory Tavern - Winston-Salem

Wonderful food and awesome atmosphere. Manager on duty last night, TJ, was great as well and super friendly. First time being here and won’t be the last.

First time visiting there, much better and the hostess and waiter were hospital than Applebees on Stratford rd.

Good food. Friday Night has live music sometimes. My wife accidently ordered the shrimp and grits, best mistake ever made. They are good, but heavy (lots of calories). I had the charred wings, they were good. Almost over charred, but good. Don't get the buffalo sauce, it is decently hot, but not the best buffalo flavor. The Caribbean jerk was some of the best that I have had. Also, the sweet potato fries were on point. The service was impeccable, awesome servers and very accomadating.

Delicious food, good sports bar atmosphere and a friendly, competent waitress
