Smitty's Pancake House - Winnipeg

Smitty's often takes a beating because, well it's Smitty's. Menu is loaded with pretty standard fare but, the wings that are on special during weeknight evenings are great! What's super nice is that it's not just a lounge or bar deal. You can bring the kids sit in the restaurant and as long as you buy a drink, any drink qualifies (tea, coffee, pop, booze) you get the deal. The wings are tasty and they offer a solid choice of seasoning dry and wet. The service is friendly, servers are pretty young and pretty green but always nice-well managed. It seems to be a hot spot for seniors too, just saying! I've never had breakfast here, never had lunch only have had the wings and they're good.

This location is so close to our house and we often come here for Sunday lunch! Stephen is our waiter a majority of the time and he's great! Always nice and very helpful. Also, they have good caesars.

Went in Monday for dinner and I love the environment and how quiet it was. A well lit restaurant and wifi available. The cactus cut fries are great as well as the Texas skins.
