The menu is limited, portions are small, and the service is neither friendly nor unfriendly. The Reuben sandwich had coleslaw instead of sauerkraut, and the bread was grilled instead. Since they do not have a full kitchen, I would suggest sticking to the basic items that do not require extensive cooking. Overall, the experience was average.
I haven't had a pastrami sandwich since leaving NYC many years ago, so I was thrilled to find one at this restaurant. In addition to their delicious Reuben sandwich, they also serve an authentic Dill Pickle. The only thing missing was Dr. Brown's Celery Tonic to complete the meal. Overall, this place is a hidden gem and the closest thing to a true Jewish deli that I've found in Winnipeg, particularly in St. Boniface.
This restaurant in St. Boniface near its large hospital gives the restaurant variety! The sandwiches are very good as the soups. It's a real delicacies!! Your visit is rewarded by a feeling of deep satisfaction!
I'm often in the business building and enjoy her black bean sandwich on Multigrain. Really healthy and full. Beautiful people who walk the place, what you want to come back for the next time!
A great little deli right across the street from St Boniface Hospital. They have a wide array of sandwiches and soups, my favorite being their signature pastrami delight.
