Luda's Deli - Winnipeg

This small cafe which caters to workers for breakfast and lunch has developed a dedicated group of followers for it great service, fair prices and amazing food. Every Wednesday there is homemade mushroom soup at lunch and you will likely have to wait for a seat. The burgers are very good, the fries excellent, but by far the standout on the menu is their Clubhouse sandwich, three layers,fresh turkey and ham, with choice of rye, white, or wholewheat bread.The walls have many pictures of celebrities who have come here for the Clubhouse (and other specialities such as bologna and eggs).The homemade borscht is also a favorite among regulars.

This is my second visit to a great restaurant with friendly staff and super tasting food....generous portions,timely service,self serve coffee,and a homey atmosphere...I highly recommend this spot,but come early as it gets filled fast...the 3 ladies keeping this place going truly make this an IN spot.

Those of us who have dined here know that Luda's is the best deli in Winnipeg.It has character,charm,outstanding service and most importantly,delicious food.I'm a Clubhouse fan and Tracy(the owner and chef) has this one down pat.Her talents don't stop there.The soups are glorious;especially the borscht and the potato soup.Reubens ...fabulous.Monte Cristos..mouth watering.Hamburgers....freshly made and tasty.Essentially,everything here is top notch.The deli itself is newly renovated,clean and has the character lacking in many of the newer establishments.Open for breakfast and lunch Luda's won't disappoint.Try it,you'll like it.

Let me tell the you - the vibe, friendliness, and uniqueness of Luda's is without equal! It is a great, intimate and tiny place. The owners are "real" and love what they do for a living. The Cheeseburgers are some of the best that we have ever tasted! Get there early as seating is very limited!

Best Reuben in town, Pastrami piled high & just the right amount of sauerkraut. Homemade fries complete a great lunch. Corned beef also a great choice. We always take our out of town guests there for a true Winnipeg experience.
