Taste of India - Windsor

We were in Windsor for a conference at Caesar’s and, we’ll, conference food. We were craving some flavour, so we found this place on Trip Advisor and gave it a try. So glad we did! The decor is a bit tired, but the lady who looked after us was sweet, and the food was so good! Just what we were looking for.

The server was fantastic. She recommended multiple dishes, and what we ordered was delicious and flavorful. It wasn't too spicy and had the perfect texture. The naan, rice, and vegetable dish were all excellent. I highly recommend the dinner combo for two, which includes an appetizer, main entrees, and dessert.

A few years ago, they relocated from Goyeau to this new spot. The food is still delicious, with the same owners in charge. I especially enjoy their naan bread. During our last visit, we ordered Butter Chicken, Chingri Jhol, plain naan, garlic naan, and rice. Everything was great, with no complaints.

Have been to this restaurant several time Good food and good service. If you want to eat good East Indian food one needs patience as it is not a fast food and can take up to an hour. Freshly made and warm and spice level as per your request. Best naan made fresh in the clay tandoori oven better than in India also try crispy pakoras, chicken tikka palkpaneer and any lamb or chicken pasanda. Daalfry and vegetarian biryanis. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat good authentic East Indian food in Windsor, Ontario

We visited this restaurant after hearing good reports from a friend. We weren't disappointed! Tried the lamb vindaloo (delicious) and vegetarian korma (also delicious... especially good if you don't tolerate spiciness). Can't wait to go back and try other items!
