Falafel Al Sham - Windsor

I recently visited Windsor and stumbled upon this small, incredible restaurant. After confirming with the owner that it was a meat-free establishment (a rarity in Windsor), I ordered a falafel sandwich. As I sat down, I watched as the falafel balls were freshly made before my eyes. The unique flattened shape with a deepening in the middle made them light, crispy, and absolutely delicious. I had the option of a football-shaped pocket pita or a standard fresh pita, and I opted for the former. Despite not being a huge fan of falafel, this was a transcendent experience! The owner was friendly, offered excellent service, and patiently explained the options as there was no menu card available yet, as the restaurant was new. The price of the sandwich was very affordable, and there were plenty of seats and free street parking outside. I highly recommend this place!

I watched as the freshly made falafel balls were prepared right in front of me. The unique flattened shape with a depression in the middle made them light, crispy, and absolutely delicious. I chose to have them in a football-shaped pita, with standard fresh toppings. Despite not usually being a fan of falafel, this was a truly amazing experience! The owner was friendly and provided excellent service. Although the restaurant is relatively new and doesn't have a published menu, the options were explained patiently. The price of the sandwich was very affordable. There was plenty of seating and free street parking available. I highly recommend this place!
