A really great selection of icecreams and a very nice place to sit by the river.
We were booked on a 2 o clock boat trip today and were running a little late leaving us with about 10 minutes to spare to grab a quick bite to eat. We opted for sandwiches and coffee to take away and were hopeful for something edible at least. What we got were the most beautifully made sandwiches made with fresh bread , with lots of filling, presented in an airtight takeaway container (recycleable) and a good quality coffee. Amazing value for money and served with a .
Nice place to sit by the river. Food etc ok. Not amazing but what you'd expect for a very simple little café.
Prices are quite high, and portion sizes are very small. Plastic cutlery provided is poor quality forks keep snapping. Young lady inside who served me was very pleasant but the older lady who was clearing tables outside had a look on her face like she’d just been told that her dog had died, and barely even grunted a reply when I attempted an exchange of pleasantries.
