Avanti Bistro Bar Café - Windsor

Very good food, friendly and attentive service. we visited on Friday night and enjoyed the excellent live music. it was a pity that the restaurant was practically empty as the ambiente would have been much better if it were full. would recommend, very, hopefully better advertising and marketing will lead to an increase in the number, the restaurant is good and deserves success.

Friday night close to Christmas. It was very quiet, which made for a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were attentive but not fussy. The food was lovely and flavourful, with decent sized portions.

We were visiting Windsor found this restaurant on the internet. It was Friday night when we got there we were the only ones there that’s how it stayed for the whole evening! Saying that the staff food were great.

The food was very uninspiring. Our starter sharing plate arrived with 3 minute strips of pitta bread for the dips 1 each. We had to ask for more and a big bowl was dumped on the table. The owner was a strange character and quite miserable. My pizza was almost inedible as the base was rock hard and extremely dry. My friend said her pasta was not freshly cooked and not at all good. On this basis I would definitely not return or recommend.

This restaurant is closed for refurbishment. However a booking from opentable was taken. We turned up to find this out. Appalling that they were on OpenTable. We had to walk around and find somewhere else to eat.
