Nori Asian Fusion Sushi - Wilmington

A great sushi restaurant close to home busy with families, couples and great bar area. Awesome that they had a seat for us on a Saturday evening.The choices for sushi and entrees were boundless. The Summer of Fun roll was done with soy paper which was light and refreshing. The spicy Thai seafood dish had a kick to it and plenty of seafood. The Japanese squid was a bit chewy but the mussels, shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly.We will certainly be back for more rolls, so many to try.

I typically head downtown on Tuesday nights to another place, but time got away from me. So, I headed over to Nori. I typically do lunch at Nori, but tonight, I really wanted sushi and thought I 'd give it a shot. I won 't say anything about the food other than it was great. They were very busy, but it did die down before I got out. My issue was the service. I simply felt like I was a nuisance. I know the server was busy, so I wanted to be patient...But I didn 't want to be ignored. I never said anything and I 'm not angry. I hope she had a wonderful night. I wasn 't asked how was the food, if I needed anything...Just What would you like to drink/Can I take your plates/It 'll be $38. Not even sure if I was wished a good night... Guess I 'll just stick to lunch.Parking: Big, Big lot.

Great food and service when we go there. But if you are going to close at 9:30 then make that information available. If you close early then let us know. Arriving while staff is sitting chatting and on their phones, cook staff washing things down, and its 30 minutes before your advertised closing is not fun when we drive 30 minutes to get there. Just let people know. We looked online and said you were open. If we called, you think someone who answered would say “yes…please come” they would not. If you own the business please close at 9:30. Or say you close at 9:30.

The restaurant itself is all right, good atmosphere and nice food. The only reason I put a 5 instead of a 3 was because of the experience our server Lilly provided. She was helpful and cared to our every need. We saw how hard she worked through the night and she deserved the tip we left. Hope we get Lilly again!Food: 3/5
