Ginger Garden - Willowick

In the day and age of paid delivery services it's hard to find a restaurant that is willing to do their own delivery. Especially sushi. I did not resubscribe to my delivery service which shall remain nameless. It was a waste of money and as someone who has formally worked in the restaurant business, restaurants are already hurting because of the pandemic they do not need to lose anymore of the profit. My biggest beef was the communication or lack of with my sushi restaurants. I'm usually good for a sushi deluxe but I hate salmon. Just a personal thing. I was able to call Ginger Garden and I was able to voice this to host. Not only did they did deliver it themselves and promptly but they replaced the salmon with more tuna. The sushi was fresh, delicious as was the miso soup and salad that came with it. Ginger Garden you just got yourself a regular customer and I urge anyone reading to try this restaurant themselves.

Terrible service. Ate here on 9/23 with a group of friends. Service was absolutely terrible BUT we still left a 15% tip on the 380 dollar bill. The server then he the audacity to confront us and tell us the tip was not enough for them. Talk about entitlement issues.... Wish I could take the entire tip back now. Will never return to this place. Even saw cockroaches on the floor below us and we didn't say anything. NOW WE WILL. Stay clear of this filthy place.

Food was very good. Good enough for five stars. But I ordered chicken and Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce. I got chicken and broccoli in a very tasty sauce. Good but not what I wanted.

Ordered some Tofu in Garlic Sauce (listed with one spicy pepper), Sauteed String Bean, and a couple appetizers. The string beans were sauteed, though there was just a little sweet sauce with zero flavor. Tofu in garlic Sauce? The tofu looked great, the vegetables looked crisp, but the sauce was just sweet, not spicy, no garlic flavor at all, and the tofu as actually sort of rubbery... not the right texture at all. Scallion pancake was fine, nothing terribly special, not crisp at all. But hey, at least it showed up quickly!

Great food and delivery was quick. My food was still hot and had crunch to the chicken wings. Everything tasted freshly fried, and it was more leftover for me to eat for tomorrow! This was my first time ordering there and won't be my last!
