Clearly marked vegan options and ready to make changes.
Sol has always available some vegan options. the food is delicious and fresh.
Service is fast and friendly, and the interior is spacious and unique. Your waffles are by far the best I had. Tastes something like a funnel cake, crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside. Warning, though with the chicken and waffle, the chicken, if very well seasoned with many herbs (here, if you are), if you don’t like this type of thing in your fried chicken, you don’t like it, but I thought it was very delicious
I recently stopped at a weekday for lunch in Sol in the north of Glenn Avenue just east of Erie Street in Willoughby, Ohio. Erie Street is the historic main business district in Willoughby. There are many free parking for Sol and other companies behind the shops along Erie Street. Even at all parking spaces, the lot is apparently overcrowded at certain times. Some of the companies, including Sol, have reserved some rooms for their customers. There were many open parking spaces on a week afternoon. That was my first visit to Sol. My meal was very delicious, but not exceptional. Many diners got the Taco food. When I return, I will order one of their Taco meals selection. Since it was a weekday afternoon, I had an unsweetened iced tea to drink. You have an extensive list of drinks, including various tasting flights. I started with the Calamari Appetizer. The slightly baked Calamari was delicious. The grilled half of lime to press over the Calamari was a nice touch. The warm tomato sauce for diving was not impressive. In my opinion it took more Gusto, a touch of spicy heat would have been appreciated. Next I enjoyed the Sol Burger with one side of Mexican street maize. The corn was great! The Sol Burger is a good burger. The toppings are good. A decent burger, but not exceptional again. The presentation of both the Calamari and the Burger is thoughtful and pleasant to the eye. I noticed that the diners who ordered the Taco courts were a good thing. No paper napkins or plastic utensils here at Sol. Cloves and beautiful place settings are standard here. The dining area is clean and the master room is clean and tidy. I reworked Sol recently and had a great late lunch. I started with the Malanga chips and Tomatillo salsa. A very, very tasty appetizer. Malinga is a root plant that sol prepares beautiful and crispy with exactly the right amount of salt. The Tomatillo Salsa has a great depth of taste to accompany the Malinga chips. The chips are neither oily nor oily. Could they be prepared in an air rack? Next I enjoyed the Vegan Chorizo Tacos. Two tacos come per order with your choice from three pages. Sol offers six types of tacos. I asked if I could choose two different tacos per order. The answer is no. I have to go back to try another Taco couple. The Vegan Chorizo Tacos begins with a greasy gucamol on a crispy maize saucepan. The crunchy corn taco shell is nested in a roasted flour tortilla taco shell. Makes for a great bite without the crunchy corn taco shell crumbling. Charred Kohl is being filmed on the Guacamole. This is with corn salsa and a zesty vegan aioli. The presentation is very nice and clean. The tacos have a great taste and texture. Every bite has a consistent and tasty taste. YUMMY! The two tacos and one side are just the right amount of food for a lunch. I chose Mexican Street Corn for my side. The street Mais is a good tasting with a beautiful presentation. I enjoyed an unsweetened iced tea for my drink. The servers and the service are top notch. The servers take care of their customers and always move. The restaurant has a great decor and is very clean. A great place to relax and enjoy good food and drink. The outdoor dining area is now open. There are tables, with shade screens, and a covered area with a fire pit and ceiling TV. A proposal for the administration is to install a door sensor on the outside of the door to the outdoor dining area or to install an ADA-type touch pad on the railing up to the door to support their servers. This door opens out. Bringing food into the dining area is easy for the servers. Bringing empty plates and glasses back is unpleasant to grab the door handle and pull them with arms full of dirty dishes. If not a sensor, the server could check the ADA-Type Touchpad to open the door hands free. Your servers are good and really hustle for Sol.
