Santorini - Wildwood

Not enough server. ours did the best he could do with so many. but was still excellent. the chef was overwhelmed and our food was practically rare! and cold! I loved this place but not so much.

The best restaurant in the Wildwoods!!!!!!! Terrifically delicious food which is consistently outstanding every time we eat at Santorini. Great service and atmosphere. Our favorite place by far.

The staff at Santorini's has created a wonderful dining experience in Wildwood. The food is excellent and unique. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The only draw back is the lighting. The extremely bright lighting takes away from the ambiance. Please using dimmers on the lighting.

I was pleasantly surprised with our dining experience at Santorini. I guess I expected it to be a Greek diner type establishment but it is far beyond such. The menu is a mix of Greek and Italian with a full page of pasta dishes offered. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated in the Greek blue and white with well spaced tables. The food was a wonderful surprise. We started with grilled artichokes and calamari, both of which were very good. We loved the calamari being grilled rather than deep fried. We ordered a tzatziki appetizer which we wound up splitting as a second course. There is never enough garlic in tzatziki for me and that said, our serving was very tasty and devoured with the warm pita served with it. We both had Bronzino which was a whole fish at $39. I was somewhat disappointed by the serving as the fish was butterflied rather than served as an intact whole fish. My disappointment was eliminated upon my first bite- the fish was delicious and also of good size. We learned from the staff that the restaurant just got a liquor license but will still allow customers to bring their own wine or beer (but not hard liquor). We are not sure if a restaurant can afford such a policy in peak season, but what a wonderful and classy gesture toward its local customers during the off season. We will be back and recommend you try this restaurant.
