Mi Burrito Mexican Grill - Whittier

This place is like one of those slightly more than a 'hole in the wall ' establishments. Tho they have a covered patio (with movable plastic windows when it rains) that 's a decent size. And a little corodor for eating inside, it 's a place that looks like one of those red roof taco bars you find on the coast... And like those kind of places, it 's got that authentic Mexican taco, burrito, enchilada, rice and bean plates, that seem more reserved for nicer sit down restaurants. It 's a good take out place. Just walk in pay, grab and go as others are in line waiting for seats. And they wrap the food well so it was still Very hot when we got it home. I think I saw there 's like 9 of these places, which seemed funny 'cause the food is very much like a one off mom pop shop... try it, you 'll like it.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I have been. We happened to be in the area and stopped by for dinner. Had the tamale enchilada plate. The beans and rice were perfect. Loved the shredded beef. Just wish there was one close to home. Sorry I always forget to take pictures of my food.

Ordered take out received 3 chicken enchiladas but ordered 2 beef one chicken. Chicken was bland and wet. They were closed by the time I figured out the mistake.Food: 3/5
