Wolf's Den was once the go-to spot for our small community south of Whitehorse, offering an unbeatable combination of ambiance, food quality, service, and pricing. It was a place where people came, enjoyed, and frequently returned. Unfortunately, our recent visits over the last year (3 total) have been disappointing, revealing a marked decline in all the areas that once made this restaurant great. Despite hoping for improvement, a recent return visit showed that things had only deteriorated further. Wolf's Den now suffers from exorbitant prices and low-quality food that lacks care and attention. It has lost its local charm and quality, seemingly catering now to tourists passing by who aren’t aware of better options. Given the drastic change in quality, it was unsurprising to find the once lively local crowd noticeably absent. The establishment seems to have shifted its focus towards alcohol off-sales, as indicated by the few customers stopping by for a six pack amidst a sparse dining crowd. Regrettably, we can no longer recommend this establishment. Our recent experience will likely be our last visit.
What a treat to have a restaurant open every night this far out of town. Great selection for off-sales, tasty menu options, and great atmosphere. Thanks Wolf's Den for what you offer :
The Wolf’s Den has a neighborhood vibe with a slight biker twist. It is nestled off the highway and comfy and clean. As you walk up you can smell the burgers. Which, by the way, are fantastic. We enjoyed the pork belly special and the steak sandwich. This might be …..The Best Meal in the Yukon. Hats off to Chef Meghan in the kitchen.
