State and main - Whitby

The first time I went here and loved it. There was no waiting time for a table on the terrace. Food options are great and there are many types of drinks to choose from. Prices are reasonable and music is really good. I would definitely go back to try more items from the menu.

Our waitress was incredibly nice and helpful. The Brezel bites are so incredibly good! We had the steak and it was perfectly cooked. I have broccoli instead of asparagus. It was so good. Very recommended. Really nice atmosphere.

Delicious! This is one of our favorite restaurants in Whitby. Hopefully we can visit them soon when the restrictions lift.

The service was exceptional!! The server was good natured and happy she made everything look easy and made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic! From the portion size to the flavour, everything was spot on. We had ne er been to this place before, but after a wonderful first experience, we will definitely be back.

Good food and warm atmosphere... limited steak selection though... the fish and chip is really good... definitely worth another visit
