The Salmonberry - Wheeler

I wanted to love this place so much. A friend who was an integral part of the initial financing of the establishment had recommended us as we wanted to camp in the state park and try the local price.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Love the style of service, ordering at the front and sitting to eat. The food is just amazing, I don't need to write about it you just have the get in line and try it. The best dining experience I've had onthe Oregon coast. While we ate, we shared a table with a lovely local older couple who went easy on us for coming in from townand watched salmon with us literally jumping out of the water next to the patio. FOH knew how to handle a crowd and was sofriendly and on top of it with everyone. There is a GF pasta option if you ask that's also made in house!! Can't wait to comeback again!

Please don't tell all your friends about this place. I mean, you can tell your very best friends, I guess, but don't spill the beans to just anyone. Otherwise we'll all have to wait in longer lines for the delicious food.

Such fresh foods. Best oysters here I have ever had. Also had raw salmon (in a salad) that they had caught the same morning and they were so delicious. Their mushroom pizza was also delightful. Beautiful indoor and outdoor sitting. Friendly staff.Wonderful experience

The best meal we?ve had on the Oregon Coast. The oysters and prime rib were amazing. Can?t wait to return. Our new favorite place.
