While visiting family in McMinnville, I decided to give this place a try. We had dinner and I ordered 2 tacos Al Pastor, which were just as delicious as any I've had before. At $1.95 each, the price cannot be beat. I also tried a fish taco, which had a unique style but was still deserving of 5 stars. My mom was hesitant to try the Tripe taco at the owner's suggestion, but ended up loving it. She also enjoyed a fish taco. The radish slices and homemade salsas added a nice authentic touch to the meal. We tried mild (green), regular hot (red), and very hot (orange) salsas - I enjoyed all three, while my mom preferred mild. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because I devoured the tacos so quickly. You must visit this place for a delicious adventure to Flavor Town! Plus, you'll be supporting a family-owned business.
The tacos at this restaurant are quite good. The meats are decent. Overall, this place meets expectations. However, I personally prefer El Zaga or Alebrijes, which are located nearby.
The tacos at this restaurant are amazing, offering more than just the usual chicken, beef, and fish options. They also have tripe and beef tongue for more adventurous eaters. The flavors are fantastic!
We decided to try this little divey place next to my favorite place. Very authentic looking when it comes to decorating. They had some music videos playing on a small TV in the corner. Now here's why they received 4 instead of 5 stars. The guy taking our order seemed extremely annoyed with us being there. Basically rolled his eye every time we ordered an item. They bring your food to the table. It's served on a styrofoam plate with some wrapped plastic ware. I got 2 tacos. 1 steak and one chorizo. The flavor was on point. Shells we very authentic with a good flavor. It was a combo platter so I got a small scoop of rice and beans. The rice was dry but had amazing flavor. The beans well they were beans. I ordered a side of guacamole. Probably one of the best I've had. I brought the extras home. Jenna had 2 tacos also. She had barbacoa and chicken. The chicken was really good. Remember to put a little lime on it. She also got carne asada fries. Wow! Huge portion with exceptional flavor. This place is a must. Even the crabby employee couldn't ruin the food.
Ok, after a few bites, this may be the new taco spot near Fridley, MN for me. This one's a little more homegrown and the tacos are delicious! I'll absolutley be back! I had carne and pollo, while my boo there had barcacoa and al pastor... (I think that's right. Lol. Only 5hing missing is their liqour license!
