Bonefish Grill - Weston

I violated my normal rule to stick to what the restaurant specializes in (i.e., don't order seafood at a steakhouse and don't order steak at a seafood place). Instead of getting grilled mahi mahi or Chilean sea bass, I went with the filet mignon. I asked for medium rare and got medium well. Fail. The service, as usual, was excellent and I normally love coming here, but I'll be sticking with the seafood if and when I come back.

This is a pretty good place for seafood. The portions are ok but small compared to local individual franchisees like Rustic Inn. The food tastes great and they give you choices of dipping sauce I like the lemon butter best. The Caesar salad is ok. The vegetable that comes with the meal is always some strange and unappealing side but you get to pick your own too.

We were a party of four at the Bonefish Grill #7023) in Weston, Fl tonight, 23 Jan 2009. While our drinks and dinners were acceptable, they were not particularly good value for money. The ambiance of this restaurant left a lot to be desired. It was crowded and noisy with the tables so close together we felt as if we were sitting and having dinner with the people at the tables next to ours. Certainly, we could have easily joined in their conversations and vice verse. Our server was extremely pushy, recommending that we order things on the menu when we did not ask for his advice, he was also definitely a waiter with an attitude. When we asked why the dinners we were served were not as described on the menu we were lectured about how to order and how to read the menu properly. He was condescending and extremely rude and impatient with us, snatching our plates away even as the last forkful of food was being chewed. It was clear that he wanted to get us moving on as soon as possible. This was our first experience at Bonefish Grill and it will probably be our last. We will definitely hesitate to recommend this Bonefish Grill to others.

A little pricey but you get what you pay for, amazing food. From the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer to their daily fish specials Bonefish is without a doubt one of my favorites. Very good martinis too...with family or your special someone, Bonefish in Weston is a MUST!!!

We went for my husband’s birthday and I absolutely loved it. We waited about 20 minutes before going in but we just decided to wait at the bar and have a drink while we waited. Someone from the bar recommended the shrimp appetizer that their famous for and we weren’t a big fan for but overall the main courses where excellent.
