We decided to look up a coffee place and we just had to stop at this one because of the reviews and the environment of this place. We entered and it felt so homely and cozy. It was a good find and Kim was so gracious. She was a wonderful and warm host and it looked like most of the town people knew her. The gallery is full of paintings, books and comfortable furniture. There’s a steam that flows by the backyard of the house and it felt peaceful to sit on the chairs there as well. We had the four-berry pie, the chocolate whoopee pie and the iced coffee (which brews for 12 hours which was almost out by the time we got there! It was only 11:30am). This is a hidden treasure and hopefully this place gets more popularity!
This is a not to be missed coffee house. The setting is tranquil. The pie is to die for. Lemonade that is perfectly made. The best over all coffee house experience I have ever had. Take a detour if you have to to stop in. Outside seating or indoor parlour like accommodations. This will be a must for me anytime I'm even close.
Came across this place while driving from NY to Boston. So glad we made the stop. Perfect place to stop in for a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy a home baked sweet. And as an added bonus you can enjoy absolutely amazing photographs of a National Geographic Photographer. Absolutely beautiful. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in.
Great barista, perfect cappuccino you can sip on while having a cigarette on a gorgeous covered porch with a stream in the back of the building. Yeah!!! Beautiful art work inside. Friendly atmosphere. A life saver in this little town where a Starbucks is 30 away
Absolutely beautiful garden and gallery. The shade and the dam combine to make a wonderfully cool outdoor area suitable for conversation or contemplation. The Easter Island brownies are delicious and highly recommend.
